Yes the ST was equipped with a 2.5 based on the Volvo T5....always liked the 5 pot warble.

The MPS must have had a few upgrades then. Haldex drive train loss and weight would work against the Golf from a roll.

Race from the lights next time :laugh:.

We where on a Double lane A road,I overtaked a Mini Cooper,doing 60ish then the MPS was right behind me...I stepped on it even more & went to the left lane to see if he can pass me,he blasted right pass me,if I dropped a few gears,he b eating dust...
