Fitting VW head unit with Satnav.

Has anyone changed there standard VW CD player/Radio, For a VW one with built in satnav?
Is there anything needed to make it fit/work ?

I have mate yeah all you need is a head unit for example RNS-510 and then you need a GPS Ariel there like £10 on eBay and that basically it make sure your head unit has up to date software and a security code  :happy2:

Your welcome; Yeah it sure is I have got a LED 2014 revision H, thats the latest one my car could take :)

How come a version H was the latest yours could take? Also, where'd you get it brand new for that price?  :party:

Not sure where you got that information but it's wrong. I have a revision P in my Golf and it was built in January 2013. The sticker is equal to this one:


Can you check the sticker from your unit and see what date was it made? Your H revision was made in 2011 most likely, like you can see in this pic:
