Tyre suggestions 225/40/18

Hey guys.
Needing some new rubber for my MONZA's (225/40/18) , Any suggestions on a good decent tyre that also has got low road noise.
some High end stuff I have used before on my previous cars have been very noisy which I don't want this time lol.
Cheers

Personally I would stick with the decent stuff and turn the radio up, they're noisy because they're grippy and will stop you from hitting a tree
. I don't know what you had on previously but I don't find my Goodyear Assy 2's particularly noisy, but like I said most decent ones are a bit more noisy but that's because they work. Personally I wouldn't sacrifice any grip for a bit of noise.

The Goodyear Assymetric 2's, Michelin PS3's and Continental CSC5's seem to be the most recommended on here, my personal choice is the ContiSportContact5's

Another vote for Goodyear Eagle F1 Assy 2's
every 225/40/18 tyre I've tried has had more road noise than my winter 17's, but the Goodyears certainly produce less noise than some 'budget' directionals I've ran. It's got more to do with the quality of the road surface than the tyre.

Just bought some Goodyear Eagle F1 Assy 2's from
www.camskill.co.uk
- Paid £347.36 for 4 delivered, but looks like the prices have gone up a little.

Prices change all the time, it's worth checking every tyre site

Don't rule out your local tyre fitters guys, after you factor in delivery and fitting costs it can work out cheaper to go tyre fitter and have them order the tyres, I phoned up and he had the Conti's I wanted in next morning popped in the afternoon and had them fitted, cost all in worked out £10 a pair cheaper than ordering online.

Vred Sessantas - good grip in both dry & wet conditions, low-ish noise and don't break the bank but are definitely a premium tyre.

Michelin ps3 for all round good tyre or Super sports for something a bit more performance biased.
