It might be a tweaked turbo but there'll be various other engine upgrades you can be sure. The concept car also has a carbon roof to shed weight

The Gti R is well beat, what would a stage 1 R do to it?

I admit tuned vs standard isn't really fair, however, it's worthwhile to me as more people don't tune than tune, and it shows a simple stage 1 GTI is faster than the more expensive R, from a roll, where most people drive hard.
Getting back on track, it'll be interesting to know whether the R400 is a 500bhp monster with some software, or a maxed 7R with the same turb.
Boot handle has the reverse camera mate, you can do that on the Mk5...
