Is it possible to edit a review on a mod? I made a grammatical error and my OCD senses are driving me mad!  :fighting2:

So its actually going to be a complete catalog like the mods. One section would not have been enough.

All done just need the categories. @rich83

Quick question, if we copy an image URL from a website, is the image saved to the local DB here or does it pull it from the linked site everytime? Just curious as I wouldn't want a website to change their links only for it to become redundant here. Hope that makes sense!

We copy the image to the forum. This is removed when you update an image.

Great thanks.

Also, you probably know but just to let you know that on the new detailing section, when you add a product you can choose from 2 categories, which creates duplicates in the number counted but only one item displayed.

the idea is you can add product to 2 categories do not add to the same category.

We are getting a few questions in the mods section now. I will see if i can tap into the notifications and message users with that mod??

For now mods with unanswered questions are red.

I don't think the Basic Standard Poverty Spec items should be in the main categories, but optional extras are OK imo.

E.G: Xenons, Cruise Control etc. OK,

but stuff like GTI seats, GTI dials, GTI bumper, kick plates etc. should be in a sub category "Standard GTI Parts" because they are useful for those who don't have a GTI; Part numbers etc. but won't clutter the main listings for those who have them already i.e. Every GTI5 owner.

Scottymon's suggestion is very good. Create a sub-category for the standard GTI parts like he suggested as it will be more easy for non-GTI owners to find the GTI parts and won't clutter the rest.

Maybe you can also make a new category with standard equipment because some might not have some parts that come standard in higher spec'd models but still want to get them in their Golfs. I'm thinking in the dash cubby, cup holders and highline cluster, for example.

In my country all GTIs have an highline cluster, MFSW, cruise control and 18'' Detroits/Monzas II. In the UK they don't so it's hard for me to know which is standard and which is an optional. It's better that the admins put the different items in the correct category if they're misplaced. I've put many GTI standard parts but I know not all Golfs have them, so they might help those who want to get them to know the part number or even their existence.

Thanks for your input guys. Some of the items that have been added i doubt anyone has retrofitted. If they have IMO they should be the only users that add it to their mods list.

Banjo bolt delete for example if people start adding this cos their car has no banjo bolt. It defeats the whole object of what i was trying to do. If someone asks myself or bigmig95 about this mod we can advise them how much of a pita the nut under the manifold is.

Or another scenario 50 users have rain light sensor maybe i should retrofit it. LOL pita.
