Non Volkswagen Group Rides section
« on: July 15, 2014, 12:38:11 pm »
Seems to be a few people on here who run second cars that aren't VW, Audi or Seat, indeed some aren't even part of the VW Group. Maybe a non-VW Group section will bring to light other modified cars which may add a whole new level of inspirations to the field?

Good idea... but would everything just end up in a garbled mess?

Not really, a few other forums I've seen that are multiple generations of Golf have sub-boards for each mark, we'd just need one or two sub boards here, like Other VAG cars (for the Seat and Audi owners mostly) and a Non-VAG cars board for those who have track cars or other projects from different manufacturers.

Other VAG rides section.

We dont feel that adding a section for "any other car" is where we want to be heading. Its a VAG forum after all.

Suppose people have Edition 38 and other forums for that. Question now is, do we start moving people who already have a post into the new section? Perhaps offer it up as a volunteer move?

If people want their thread moved we can do that

Will moderates be allowed to move new posts if they are not mk5 Golfs into the new section though, without asking the OP?

Nice work. I've had a few good ideas lately... Think I've used my 2014 and 2015 allowance of them. This means the car may suffer... :sad1:
