Start up/boot Logo Change - RNS510
« on: October 24, 2014, 04:19:16 pm »
Hi Guys

I'm attempting to change the start up logo on my RNS510 - I know the procedure of pressing eject+star+setup, but Im not getting anywhere with that.

It just eother keeps on the radio station I'm on or brings up a hidden menu for voice activation stuff. Its meant to go blank then have a red banner at the top and bottom of the screen which is when you insert the CD with the new logo on.

Any suggestion where I'm going wrong?

So much for keeping it standard!

I would go steady making your own boot logo discs. There's a website out there that volunteers to make the required files for you, and some or all of them don't work and corrupt the firmware.  Ask me how I know....
Sarcasm for free. Anything after that can only be considered as a bonus.

Just because you think you know something, doesn't make you an expert if you've just read it on the internet, y'know.
