You'll be lucky to find one on its own so may have to go dealers - worth trying your local TPS and say your in the trade and they will give you a bit of a discount. Or if your feeling brave you could separate the lense and spray the red backing black and you will have the same look as the rest  :happy2:

I could try paint, if it's still not matching I can then go to the dealers hehe tah!
i got one individual from the dealers

Mind me asking how much it'll set me back? :)

Be careful if you split the lenses - they are easy to shatter!

Still haven't bothered to phone VW for a price on the light :( Tyres are more important I reckon - as it's coming up for winter and she's running budgets all round!!
Been quoted 110 per corner for Dunlop SP Max, supplied and fitted :) so I can't grumble at that

Have a look on tyreleader  :happy2:

You can get some GY Assy 2's or Michelin Pilot Supersport for around £100 a corner, they are much better than Dunlop SP Maxx

I got Michelin pilot sport 3's @£74 all day (225/40/18). Got a few sets of yoko ado8's in that size which ain't much use to me as I'm running 10's on my track mk5 and don't use my edition 30 enough to warrant them as it's a daily

Another vote for Tyreleader - I've got P Zeros, but they were on there when I bought the car. I bought Nokian WR D3s for my winter wheels from Tyreleader and they cost around 20% less than anywhere else, delivered.

Next tyre swap I do I'm going for GY Eagle F1 Assy 2, as so many recommend them for these cars
How did she know?

It was between the Goodyears and the Dunlops.. I know the Goodyears are fantastic! I used to work for a tyre specialist and we worked alongside the GY/Dunlop group specifically.. I've been to a few training courses and the information I've received from those has highlighted that the Goodyears are fantastic as an all round tyre - yes, but the Dunlops have very similar ratings, are from the same provider and are more suited to "fast road use" than even the eagle f1 asymmetrics are!
I've also looked into Michelins as we tried working with them too, but they didn't sell very well due to being more pricey.. I'm personally going to stick to GY/Dunlop :) I wouldn't go for conti's or anything like that either! I'd quite like to get a bit of mileage from my tyres

Remember to factor in fitting - can be up to £20 per corner, depending on how greedy the fitters are ...

I've used www.tyre-shopper.co.uk (part of National Tyres & Autocare) and mytyres.co.uk fitted service in the past and found them both very good.

Some say that GY AS2 are squidgy due to soft sidewall.
I have been buying Conti SC5, great in the dray and wet. A little noisy on some surfaces though. Wear is ok, I get appr. 15k miles.

Michelin are doing £70 fuel voucher with 2 x 17" tyres jn november
http://www.michelin.co.uk/tyres/special-offers/fuel/terms

Don't know if you can claim twice for 4 tyres? why not visit twice and have 2 fitted at a time? guess they've thought of that one  :sad1:
