I think it's done by having the ignition on and dipping the clutch pedal!

It's all here: http://www.mk5golfgti.co.uk/forum/index.php/topic,82040.msg877560.html#msg877560

I'm going to ask for stock mode as well as Gower-power  :happy2:

Niki said he can make it work with anything (probably cruise control if you wanted that!)

Nice, this may mean I can get a remap and if the clutch slips I can put it back to the standard map until I can afford an uprated clutch  :driver:

I think it's done by having the ignition on and dipping the clutch pedal!

Hopefully someone will confirm this for us  :happy2:

Do it with pedal combinations like in the link I posted then (looking at your post above, you haven't even opened the link?   )

No you posted as I was about to send my post, I was in a rush so sent it anyway. I've read all 4 pages  :signLOL:

The pedal  way sounds quite good, I'd probably only want the remapped and standard map.
I did read that they can map the TC to help with traction rather than cut the power which I'd like.
I'd like a map which feels fast which isn't going to destroy the clutch but I do like the mid range punch with I miss from my old K03 GTI. Not sure if I'd like the linear throttle map or not  :driver:

Ah fair enough mate

Yeah the TC mapping is cool, it kinda pulses the power in & out very quickly without being as abrupt as the standard traction control.

If you tell Niki how you want it to drive (and that you want to preserve your clutch) then you won't come away disappointed  :happy2:

A linear map with TC and switchable Mapping will suit me down to ground, I've had a look on the website but couldn't find a price for the extra bits does any one what price it is, I know the remap is £290?

I believe the switchable map is in addition to the £290 - the TC tweak I believe is now included as standard.

It's hard to confirm as I can never get hold of the guys!!
