Cruise Control Retrofit
« on: October 18, 2014, 03:02:09 pm »
Just fitted cruise control on to my car and tried to code it, however on VCDs in Engine "Coding ii" will not allow me to select it and under fault code it comes up with Error P0568 - Cruise Control Switch (E45): Implausible Signal

Can anyone help me as to why this is happening

You may have to change the steering wheel control module depending on what variant you currently have. When you run a scan in VCDS you should be able to see which one is currently in your car.

Also bare in mind that you will need to make sure you select one that is compatible with your slip ring.

Use the link below to determine which one you will need or to confirm that you already have the correct one in place.
