Cheapest place for genuine parts
« on: October 28, 2014, 02:43:42 pm »
Hello all!

Where have you found the cheapest place to buy genuine VW parts?

I am looking to do the cambelt/water pump/etc.

I used to own a Ford and there was a great place online to buy discounted genuine parts, anything like this for VW?

Thanks in advance

Stoke Audis online shop is often cheaper than my local VAG dealers and more convenient - http://www.stokeaudi-parts.co.uk/

Dave at SERE in Belfast did me a cambelt/water pump kit for £128 IIRC.

He mails stuff lots too so maybe worth giving him a shout. Let me know if you're stuck finding his number

Most TPS branches will put retail sales through as 'Trade cash sale' even these base prices offer good savings most of the time especially so on service parts. If you can get a trade account with your local branch you will receive extra discount normally 2-8% on special order parts and 8 or 10% on service parts further discount is available for volume ordering.

Ah good to know thanks! Nearest branch is quite far from me, I have a GSF and Andrew Page more locally but their prices aren't always the best!

Phone TPS up today...

£180 for full cam belt kit and water pump  :jumpmove:
She did ask if I was in the trade... I said no and she continued to sell me the parts anyway, they are waiting under the shelf for my collection  :happy2:
