Squeaky brakes when stopping?
« on: October 28, 2014, 02:32:49 pm »
Hi.

Any ideas my pads look fine, discs have a slight lip but nothing major. They only squeak when coming to a stop - only did it just after i brought the car and its starting to get annoying and become embarrassing?

Thanks

What pads do you have, oem or uprated performance ones?

Id whip caliper off, good clean up with degreaser etc
Apply some copper slip to rear of the pads and pad guide runners on the caliper

Could also be sign of the piston sticking/seized!

Also as mentioned above what pads fitted? Cheap ones wont help!
