how can i confirm this is OEM?

bought a set of "oem" xenon headlights, now how can i confirm that they are OEM xenons? only got the headlight and d2s bulbs.  :driver:

Check for the VW stamp with part numbers.

where are they located on xenon headlights?

I would guess on the bottom or the caps, anywhere there's a flat surface really. I don't have them myself so I know that's not very useful. In essence, if you can't find a VW stamp with part numbers, I'd guess they aren't genuine parts.

what will i need to complete these so i can use them? got the bulbs, but no ballasters and igniters. i dont need autoleveling.

Just a set of Kufatec adaptor's and a bit of coding using vagcom,had this done on my old Edition30 and it was one if the best mod's out there,best time of the year too with it being dark so early! :smiley:

Sorry about not knowing the cost of the  ballast's and igniter's but if you got the light's cheap enough i'm sure some will turn up soon on ebay! :happy2:

Affraid so mate,a complete set of second hand xenon's would set you back around £550-£600. :scared:
