Decent bodyshop in Sussex?
« on: October 29, 2014, 06:22:32 am »
Can you guys recommend any bodyshops in the Horsham/Crawley/Haywards Heath sort of area?

I'd love to get a few dents and scratches repainted, plus possibly some skirts/splitter painted and fitted.

Thanks.

I'm in Hosham and use Ian Taylor Body Repairs in Horley, great peeps, great quality and a resonable price.

Example of their work in my build thread, Reply #238, and there is a link to their site in that reply too...

Nice one  :happy2: Just mailed them, and hopefully will pay them a visit on Saturday for a quote.

I work for a company called IN Autos we specialise in Mercs but we also do classic restoration... IN Autos Restorations some of the stuff that comes out of our bodyshop is excellent we also have upholstery etc.

Im not trying to act like a trader by ANY stretch incase i get pulled up but i have seen some poor workmanship before and would hate someone put put their pride and joy into somewhere and get a poor result (not saying Ian Taylor would do so i have heard great things about them too) my bodyshop guys are very good have a look on facebook and you can see some of the stuff we do.

If you want to speak about it call IN Autos and ask for Andrew (ME)

Lewis at Ian Taylor gave me a very competitive quote, so I'm pretty set on going to them for the work (once I've got hold of the side skirts, splitter and GLI rear skirt)

Thanks for the recommendation @MC71 !
