This is a genuine iPad case which was passed onto me from my sister who got it as a leaving present from work. I used it on my iPad for a couple of weeks but then put it away because I ended up buying the iPad Air for myself and selling the other iPad. There is a rip on the leather at the bottom of the case (see attached picture).
