We've got a Recaro ISOFIX seat - about £160 for the seat and can't remember how much the base was...  its an excellent seat - broke the first one after 12 months when cleaning it, but they replaced it with the upgraded model free of charge without a receipt!  :laugh:  The first  model had a design fault where part of the plastic connecting the lower and upper base of the seat was wafer thin - just waiting to snap  :fighting:  Its an excellent seat though, but not for newborns.  I had a Britax seat for newborn which had a Tartan cloth pattern that matched the GTI seats - that was about 3 years ago though  :xmassmiley:

I had the recaro young profi for my new born but have the recaro young sport now.  I think the seats are perfect and the side protection on the young profi and young sport are excellent. These seats need to be checked in your car before you buy cos my 54 plate vectra back seats were pants and the profi didn't fit properly but the golf is excellent for both my seats.
