New GTi owner from Herts
« on: October 31, 2014, 10:05:09 am »
hey ya'll

I've recently got myself a mk5 GTi in Tornado red so thought id get stuck into the forum.

The car came fairly well loaded and so far I can complain too much about the car, previous owner worked for VW so it has been looked after reasonably well apart from some minor issues that i can sort out no problem,

heres a pic (currently running winter wheels)

I live/work near Watford in London so not far away. Those Audi wheels work quite well actually, never would of thought of them working until seeing them.

Moving over to Flickr, sorry for the broken picture links!

thanks guys for the warm welcome,

I haven't managed to get any engine performance upgrades yet as the cam chain kit and adjuster is my main priority when i get paid as it doesn't sound too healthy plus the other expenses that go with it but the spec is;
heated leather seats
MFD2 headunit/satnav
6 disc changer and leather armrest
rertofit cruise control
xenon headlamps
white smd led's interior kit
ferrodo DS2500 decoded wear sensor
pressed plates and wind deflectors
monoblockss on Eagle f1
highline fk coilovers

and that's about it, its slowly getting to the way I like it but man its needs to be mapped plus supporting mods as the standard map is just too slow for my liking
