ebay monza 2 reps
« on: November 04, 2014, 08:37:08 am »
Has anybody had any experience with the Monza 2 reps you can get off of eBay for £600 with tyres?
Just wondering if there worth buying or if there bad for suffering from white worm or flaking laqure?

OEM Monza 2's are bad for whiteworm, so I assume reps aren't going to be any better.

I've had replica 18 inch Monzas on for 2 years now, and they are almost still perfect.  The mrs scraped one and that is the only one looking slightly dodgy.  I would get them without tyres though, mine came with tyres and they were utter crap.  Borderline dangerous as after about 5k miles both front tyres started losing pressure due to the inner sidewall starting to split open right next to the tread and exposing the wires.  Ive got a nasty feeling they were remoulds or something!
I would have had my originals refurbished but didnt realise when I boight the car that one alloy was bucked.  Still on the lookout for 1 cheap original.
