Actually an owner of Mk 5 GT (170 bhp oil burner) not a GTi as I can't find a forum for the Mk5 GT. I guess VW had to differentiate between the petrol powered and the oil burner when they went from the MkIV (my previous car which was designated a GTi) to the MkV which is just a lowly GT.
My initial post when I find the right section will be how to get the trim apart on the overhead light cluster so that I can run a short power lead to the dashboard car cam + info on where to take the 12v feed from so it wont affect the power sensing circuits.
If I can't get support here then please let me know.
