I had mine painted and they were the textured ones. Any decent bodyshop should have no issues doing them.

Will they need to be rubbed down flat first?

they will need to be rubbed down to take the texture away, they will they be primed and finished with paint. It can be done loads of people have had it done including myself. Its best to get a professional to do it though.

Not really necessary to remove the texturing - I did a mk4 4-motion front spoiler.
Degrease / clean thoroughly
Plastic primer
Hi-build primer - multiple coats to suit (light sand inbetween coats to remove imperfections if necesasry)
Top coat
Lacquer
(depends on how much time / space you have and the quality of finish you want!)

you want to be using a grit around 240 or 320 by hand, then use adhesion promotor, high build primer, flat that smooth with 800 by hand ready for paint,
using a da machine your going to need different grades of paper

The Ed. 30 front spoiler is a bit bigger and gives a more sporty look. The rear spoiler has a different shape, but basically the same size.

What should it roughly cost at a bodyshop out of interest?
