Hi everyone,
I tried changing my follower the other day using a guide I found on here. The guide, along with all the others I can find, is for pumps with one hard pipe and one rubber. The guides just say to leave the rubber pipe on and it will flex enough.
Both pipes on my fuel pump are metal, so both need to be removed. I bought a rail of multispline sockets, but none of them seem to fit. Does anyone know the exact tool needed to remove the banjo?
Also, I read somewhere that the banjo bolt and the brass bit it goes into must be replaced each time, due to them cutting into each other to help create the seal. Does anyone know if this is true?
Thanks, Ben
