« on: November 08, 2009, 02:00:13 pm »
Time for a new satnav.

Had TTN on my PDA, so TomTom is the recommended option.

Trouble is I don't know which one!!!

Go 530?

TomTom one XL?

OR a used (refurbished) 720 and update the software.....

Help!!!!

ps looking to spend around £130.....

I had a go 730 and it was excellent couldn't fault it. It did everything under the sun but I swapped it for an RNS 510 and have never looked back. If you can stretch to an RNS I defiantly would but if not the tomtom gos are a great choice!

Thanks - it's not for the GTi. It's a prezzie

I'm using copilot live 8 on my iphone, as I'm not a fan of the RNS510 - sorry! :happy2:

Well, after MUCH nerdiness, i devised a SatNav comparison chart. Not totally definitive, but it does outline the main differences.
Hope it's of use to some people
