So basically Apple have acknowledged they used bad kit but will just replace it and allow people to swap if they want? Bit of a poor attitude from a market leader... Don't think it'd damage their yearly profits if they issued a recall/free replacement.

Not very clear so is this just the 64GB+ iPhone 6 & 6 plus?
I have a 16GB iPhone 6 4.7" will my phone be a part of this? Cheers

I thought it was worth a read knowing that Apple don't seem to want to put the customer first -  seems they just want to take your money and run on this one!

just affects the 64GB and 128GB versions, the 16GB uses different memory

As much as I love iPhones and iPads, another year another issue - They need to get better at testing before releasing

At this rate when the watch is released I wouldn't be surprised if it suffered from losing the time

Me and the wife have a 64GB version each & have had for 6 weeks now. If either gets an issue then it has warranty, I am sure if it is a problem it will rear its head within a year.

We've not had any problems and i've not heard of any.

IMO apple don't need to do anything or pull their act together. Problems or not, they are still going to make a killing. They fix problems as they happen.

I've never had a problem with their after sales, take something back and they either fix it/replace it without any questions.

I took my macbook pro in after just over a year and they had to do £500 worth of work on it, for free.
