Mudflaps for an ED30
« on: November 14, 2009, 07:10:23 pm »
Can someone advise please if i am correct in saying that you cannot get rear mudflaps for an ED30 and also that GTI front mudlaps will fit an ED30....Has anyone got any pictures of an ED30 fitted with front mudflaps as would like to see what they look like....Thanks

Greenouse has mudflaps fitted. Think they're just standard GTI ones.

The GTI isn't just a machine. It's very much a living, breathing thing.

Correct (without cutting them up), have a look for candy turbo's old ride. I'm sure off the top of my head he just had the fronts fitted.

Had the same problem lst weekend went down to my local vw dealer (didn't buy the 30 from them)

Asked for a set of gti front flaps and was informed by the Arseh*le of a storeman that they wouldn't fit after 1 of the mechanics saw me drive in to the forecourt And stood behind him Giving it 'they won't fit' you've got an Ed30 they won't fit'  by this point I was gettin p*ssed off :fighting:   So walked out and came home and remembered why I didn't buy my car from them  :P

I have only had the car for a couple of months now but have noticed lately with the wet weather just how much crap the ED30 throws up and i would like to protect the bodywork.

i m a big fan of mud flaps , not only do they protect the body work , good fitting ones look good , make the car look lower and wider  might have to do a bit of blue peter on some universal fit ones for mine   :rolleye:
