Hi Guys just wondering if someone could help me I purchased my 2005 mk5 golf gti from a trader (lesson learnt) last month. last week the cambelt snapped I am now in need of an engine as the garage I have sent it to said the engine is basically finished. I decided to sign up to this Gti forum to see if any one could help me source an axx engine. my number is 07858333374 any help would be mostly appreciated.

Marlon

Sorry to hear of your problem but out of interest what was the mileage when it went and was it the original belt from new?

Probably best to get the ECU and wiring loom from the same car the BWA came from, never hurts to play it safe. That way you'll know it'll bolt in and work.

I'm just glad I have a BWA engine in mine already... And no it's not for sale! :happy2:

Moving over to Flickr, sorry for the broken picture links!
