Picked up the cover yesterday.

Put it in but one of the screw holes did not line up.

Some muppet had put the blower motor in wrong. The locking tab was off by about 90º This also explains why i had a bulging wire sticking below everything else in the foot well.

More problems  :sad1: just noticed my headliner is sagging must have started recently surely i would have noticed it with my ocd.

Don't think there is a leak maybe the recent road trip where she was parked in direct sunlight for a week and the temps were very high?

What options do i have here?

It's a common issue in Golfs here in Portugal, at least. Get it professionally glued. Removing the headliner is easier with 2 persons to avoid kinking it. Some of the best companies here do it for 50-90 €.

Would they re-glue the original material?

What would a new one cost?

Not sure if they re-glue the original or an almost identical fabric. It looks good.

@Golf_GT_TDI fitted a new black headliner in Nov/2014. He should know what's the price from a TPS.

I may try retrimming the headliner myself. Worse case senario ocd kicks in and have to buy a new one.

The airbag warning light has been coming on since i got the car.

Hopefully this will be the last time until the connector under the drivers side starts playing up.

Trying to get my boot build finished the leatherette keeps failing tried a number of different glues but it still fails.

Any ideas on what material i can use?

I've ordered a pre cut scratch resistant perspex as i failed at cutting the hole for the sub.

Installed Subframe Bolts and Shims today. An easy job made difficult by using axle stands.

I was expecting the thin bolts that snap under impact but found this. (probably wasting my time again).

Yeah, I got the subframe bolts and shims for my GT Sport that I got fitted while fitting the SALK. I also had the thicker bolts, like the ones from the Passat. The only upgrade was the shims, really. At least the parts weren't too expensive but I guess you had more trouble fitting them than the mechanic who did mine, since he had a pit to do the work.

My fault didn't have the axle stands high enough so space was tight. Took about half an hour so not to bad.

Now i need to solve the rattling when idling in drive.

I usually have a creaking noise from the right when going up my drive with full left lock.

Probably jumping the gun but so far since changing the bolts i've not had this.
