MongyUK my diesel steed.
« on: December 13, 2008, 09:50:09 pm »
Here are some pics of my GT TDI, got loads of plans but far to busy to get them done!!!

So far I have:
50% tints.
plastic welded and smoothed rear bumper.
GTI front bumper conversion.
FK Highsport coilovers.
rear wiper removed.
Sub and Amp wired into stock headunit.
19" vw Helios 8.5" running on 215/35/19 tyres.

Sorry the car is dirty and the photos are off my phone, and sorry there are so many...couldn't decide....so here we go.

I really like it!

It's individual, and it's really set apart from the rest of the modded Golf's that are around!

Good man!   :happy2: :happy2:

What are your plans for it then? (for when you have the time!)

Its FK highsport...dropped not quite enough!!

I am looking to do simple things really....
Tinting the indicator lights ( i have the spray already)
Making a set of these....
These are nearly done...the hardeset think i have tried to date, a full write up will happen.
I would love to also pull the arches and get spacers to get the stance a bit phater. I would also love to smooth the doors.
The list could be endless but the money is low!!!

Am I the only one that think the tyres look ridiculous?

Seriously.... I thought the ethos of GTI was go faster? handle better? loose weight? etc...

Strong stance  8)
Personally i would run a different tyre profile, but i'm loving the Helious 2 rims.

Not liking the HID's in a halogen headlight. They anoy the sh1te outta me as the beam patterns (in most cases) are screwed

Overall, looks great.  8)

Don't judge me by your ability !

Lol thought it was a GTI when I was looking at the pics!

Is the rear bumper one piece? As opposed to two on the GTI?

IMO dropped a lil too much at the back but otherwise love the alloys and low-profile tyres. Looks

The de-badged back (well apart from the boot handle) makes me wanna debadge mine. Except then no one would know it was an ED30.

The GTI isn't just a machine. It's very much a living, breathing thing.
