No updates really - Bought a new battery : Varta E44 for the car while Iv been twiddling my thumbs waiting..
Its been 5 working days my mechatronics has been at ECUtesting and no word.. they said they would call when they have news when I phoned on wednesday.
They say their turnaround is 3-5 working days so thats now come and gone.. must be unusually busy ?!
Anyone used ECUtesting before?
th3_f15t:
Hopefully a phone call to them Monday will get you an answer.
omeydz:
Hopefully yeah.
Everywhere I looked there was nothing but excellent feedback about them and very appreciative customers for excellent comms, fast service, workmanship and lifetime guarantees.
Can only think they are exceptionally busy :indifferent:

Look at AKS Tuning and R-Tech... Great reviews, long waiting times to book in. It's always the way with good places sadly but it's a good sign if the place is booked up and rammed with work, as a quiet place would make me think no-one wants to use that garage.

So true! Opportunity to take a break from worrying about gearbox.
My other parts of the to do list still include:
- Dynaudio install with Bose wheel well sub (inside full size spare)
- Full size spare wheel upgrade
- Auto dimming wing mirror glass
- painting radio/climate dashboard trims in reflex silver
Been honing my painting skills on some bumper trims from my old mk5 (now my sister's) and cant tell difference from a bodyshop job! Iv perfected my prep and paint process. Not bad for rattle cans :happy2:
Also painted my dsg surround gloss black and got a nice finish too
