My car never stays in 1st, as soon as it's moving forward it's into 2nd. It hangs 2nd and 3rd until about 30mph then by the time I'm at 40mph its straight up to 6th. So yeah, sounds about right for a DSG box.

I'm looking forward to a DSG map as it'll liven things up and make the box a bit more responsive under spirited driving. But that's probably low down on your list right now after all this drama!

Sorry I was away for a bit.

Nah Im not going to DSG map it. Even the engine is on a factory map again.

Going to let things bed in as everything is new. Then Ill put my stage 1 bluefin back on or maybe an R-tech map if Nicki can work his magic on the 1.4 Turbo only engines.

Going to be adding a front mount air intercooler as the engine only has a water-cooling matrix. So it'll be twin-cooled once that is plumbed in. So maybe get more bhp than the approx 160bhp that the bluefin gives.

In terms of the 0AM 7speed DSG they have torque limit to 250ftlb as it has dry clutches not wet like the 6 speeds 02E that are almost double the torque limit. So for that reason I don't think there are any remaps or people who have had their 0AM boxes remapped.

This car is going to be my daily runaround so Id prefer the reliability over power. Plenty nippy for a 1.4 in fairness.

Getting a Maserati Gran Turismo as a weekend rocket

Need to tidy the interior wiring and put trims on etc.

Full service done and middle resonator delete completed.

Here is a little video with medium throttle. Sounds quite throaty for a 1.4 and love the DSG farts  :driver: :driver:

Enjoy!

Any updates with this mate? The thread has been a massive inspiration for myself, I too have a MK6 1.4tsi Match and have done a fair few things, R steering wheel, xenons, led tails etc but plenty left to do!

You've been busy then! Ed.35 bumper will look fantastic.

Couple things if you don't mind. Have you ever looked into fitting dual zone climate controls. I know its a massive PITA and probably not worth it, but would you have any idea of total cost/parts etc needed for that?

And also, long shot I know as they're extremely rare but what would you be able to point me in the right direction for a colour premium MFD? Dealers? Do you know what the damage would be from a main dealer? Cheers.
