cheers jay, ive filled it with red stick so far, gonna build it up and then try using cut compound method at cossy sugested, I dont have a rotary and havent attempted it before.

Its hard to spot tbh, i know its there but to a glancing look, you wouldnt spot it easy.

Is there any stuff you'd reccomend jay. Polish that'll smoothen the surface.

I think using the rotary will be no good as its right on the edge as per photo?.
Wet n dry no good by itself then polish out?

Sorry to hear it mate, these red things are bloody unlucky!   

I had it happen to me a few months ago but on the "bump strip" bit of the bumper.  I had it smart repaired by a guy I know in Dunstable and he made it go away along with some stone chips and scratches for £30 cash

They quality is random depending on who you go to, my recommendation is to ask some friends, work colleagues, etc to see who's had what done and how long ago.  If you have a good look at the work you'll probably be able to see the repair on most, but a couple should be perfect...go for their sprayer

Do this several times until the paint has built up, then leave for a week or so and go over again with a cutting polish, carefully!!

What cutting polish would you recommend cossy?

I would use Menzerna .

Your not going to be able to break the polish down enough for it to start working properly by hand. I wouldnt waste your money. Just bite the bullet and get it done properly first time round
