What stage would it be so much confusion.
« on: November 19, 2014, 05:45:27 pm »
What stage mapping would I get if I went with my current car so many differed ideas of what stage 2 is, is there a guide with what's what in stage tuning

My spec

57 plate GTi

Evoms intake.
Eurojet decat mated to OEM catback
Gfb dv+

Also any guesses on predicted power?

Maybe 270bhp.

Probably stage 2, but I wouldn't worry about what stage it is, just let Niki know what mods you have and he'll do the rest  :happy2:

What you have is considered stage 2 but intercooler recommended.

Add an intercooler and HPFP and that's stage 2+

Bigger turbo is stage 3

As Gray says, Stages are irrelevant. Niki will map for the hardware you have and  you will LOVE IT!!

At R-Tech, with your current mods your looking at Stage1.5 and  yesa S3 IC will be fine, get that on board and your Stage2. HPFP and a RS4 FPRV for Stage2+.

Shoot me down in flames but get shot of that GFB DV and get a RevG one on, will hold boost better.

I only have a Ko3 and the gfb "seems" to work fine no proof of this
But my old rubber REV D ? Was terrible.

Just can't wait to get it mapped .. Going to hold off on cooler I think would be happy with 260/270bhp and 300ftlbs that's drive able with the Mods I have
 :driver:

Need to do coilpacks though

Get the REV G fitted, lots of Vpower or tesco 99 RON fuel and you will be laughing. Niki will do whats best and SAFE for your car. He says "Night and Day" is the difference in how the car performs and he isn't wrong.  :happy2:

let us know how you get on.
