Mk5 Gti Optional Extras

Is there a list anywhere of the optional extras that could be added when buying a brand new gti when they were new, as in what packs were available. As mine has got cruise control, dual climate control and a few things, so I'm wondering what pack is on it, or if anything else there is an optional extra

The dual zone is standard on the GTI, along with auto lights, wipers & dimming mirror, electric mirrors & windows, Air con, black headlining

Extras:

Winter pack (heated washer jets & heated fabric seats)
Leather (heated)
Bucket seats
Armrest
Sunroof
Cruise control
Highline display
5 doors
Xenons
Sat nav
Cd changer
iPod connection

Probably others

Winter pack also included heated mirrors

I can also think of
Electric folding mirrors/ puddle lights
Reverse parking sensors
Blue glass (only 2004/ 2005 I believe)
Seat drawers
18" Monza's
Smokers pack
10 speaker pack

Well out of what you've listed, I've got the Highline, cruise control, heated mirrors, and blue glass.
Didn't realise auto light and that came standard, big jump from fords to volkswagens :)

Haha it is indeed, if you have heated mirrors then you have heated seats I guess? Sounds like winter pack and a few misc extras

You'd think that, and I pray to God that I do, but I've no idea about the heated seats, where is the button located? There is a button on my climate control that has a picture of a seat and and arrow pointing to the roof, I thought that was heated seats but I couldn't feel anything :(

Thats the air direction, below the climate control buttons there should be a roller on each side which is numbered from 0 - 5, roll it upwards to heat the seats

That's what I figured, in that case nah sadly I don't have heated seats. Also is a cap on the rear bumper for a tow bar an optional extra? As not all bumpers have it

I was wrong its between the climate readout and the button you pressed. Probably is because I don't have one.

yeah didn't think I had one, definitely on my list of mods to do thoigh, which is longer than my arm! Plenty mods, plenty time, but not enough money haha

Heated mirrors are standard I think. My old GTI didn't have heated seats (or many other options) but still had heated mirrors

Oh OK, I thought that it was a winter pack extra.

and if you buy the import version you get the electric power seat for the driver only
