Cam adjuster noise

Right as title states had my cam chain and tensioner replaced not long ago with cambelt and water pump now I get my eml light on with code p000a slow response also I have a vid of how it sounds from cold start up until it's warm really bugging me help would be nice please

Didn't you change the cam adjustor sensor? And it was running well?

Yh changed it all was running ok then the eml come up with the code saying p000a slow response now its noisy every time I start it like there is not enough oil gettin up but I didn't have that problem before so don't know why it's like it now :/ @dazza

I had the same issue with mine only solution was to change the adjuster it's self. Not cheap though over 300 quid just for the part then labour. Very quite now and no errors! Hope this helps.

@ginge 0116 Yh I just find it weird because it didn't have the problem before the chain was replaced...it also gets quieter the longer it's driven :/
@dazza Yh sensor was changed also very irritating now!!

If the sensor wan not new i would say it could be faulty. Cant you bodge a connection on your old one to test it.

Might have to try anything I've still got the old one aswell worth a try I suppose @dazza

Also googled about this problem some ppl say do a oil and filter change and it sorts the problem but I'm not totally convinced!!

I would look at the sump oil strainer pick up pipe as a possible for oil starvation rather than the oil and oil filter.
