Laptop up to £250
« on: November 23, 2014, 10:40:10 am »
I am looking for a laptop for my 8 year old son

Can anyone recommend any laptops for under £250?

I don't want to get anything too expensive incase anything happens to it.

Have seen plenty to choose from but I honestly have no idea what processor to go for.

I got my outlaws an HP G250 from Debenhams a few weeks back for£249, purely for browsing and using MS Office, probably as good as it gets at that price. Great battery and very light, nice screen.
Used to have Edition 30 - number 009 and a GT TDI 140.
Now have an S4 B8 Avant (stage 2)

Can't help but your headline suggests you want a laptop costing more than £250.
It should be <£250...

I hope your son is happy with it. I'd contact them and get them to match their own price. When i've dealt with them in the past they have been very accommodating.
