Hi all, been on the forum for a while silently reading posts. After building some funds, the time has come to buy a GTI!
Desperately trying to find a nice 3 door, fairly good spec, under 100k miles and under £6k. I've had a couple of nice ones slip away.
Would you guys avoid cars that have been on the long life servicing schedule? Also, if the cambelt has already been done, but it's since been another 5 years would you change it again?
Are there any recommendations for good sites other than the forum, autotrader, piston heads, gumtree and eBay to buy from?
