25mm Blanking Plug / Bung
« on: November 27, 2014, 01:37:57 pm »
Bought a k04 ITG CAI from a forum member and I have a k03 Golf.

I'm after a 25mm bung to fill the hole on one of the hoses, but the problem is I need one tomorrow/today!

The ones on the bay/tuner websites charge upwards of £8-11 for next day delivery on a £1.50 silicon bung  :fighting:

I've called a few builders depots but they have no idea what I'm after.

Has anyone bought one from a builders retail store? If so, which one? Day off tomorrow so will go and get one then...

Thanks, John

it will be fine if it's 25mm I guess, but I'm trying to gauge if anyone has done a bodge job to fit and if they recommend anything before I go and buy something?

I will buy a nice clean aluminium one off the bay when I have time, but I only have Friday to fit it and don't want to wait another week because of a 25mm bung

Hey john ,
I would just order one and wait for it to come  :happy2:
You will easy be able to do a bodge bung on the pipe as there is a good 2 inch of alloy pipe
Coming out of the side to play with , you could put some rubber and a jubilee clip on , or loads of tape and a clip lol , it's only temporary  :happy2:
