Coolant temp dropping while driving

Recently car hast started to struggle to get to 90 and sits around 70 degrees when driving and will start to climb when it idles, is this likely ti be the main thermostat or the smaller inline one, car still gets hot air

There are loads of posts on this, I'm pretty sure you need your main thermostat replacing

yeah ive had a search just wanted to check if theres a way to determine wether its the main one or inline, dont want to unnecsarily change the main one as its a pain to do
