Best way to get to CECM?

hey, whats the best way to drag your kufatec wire from your oem xenon headlights to your CECM? any tips or pics?

If your careful you can use the bonnet pull cable grommet beside the wiper linkage OSF wing area  then straight down to the CECM or use the transit grommet on the near side firewall and work your way across to the bonnet Handel area to the CECM.

will try this next weekend wheni got more time. when i reach the cecm to put the kufatec wire do i need to unlock the cecm to install the wire plug or is it stright plug-n-play in the slot it's ment to be? just push it in?

You've got to unplug the connector then disasseble it to slot the pins into the correct location for the pins numbers needed.

is there a good guide how to do that? as it seems to be kinda hard

If I was you I would pop down to your local breakers and have a good look at the location of the CECM whilst down there cut off one of the three large connectors and open it up at your leisure at home, it's simple enough but one persons simple is another's hard!

If your upgrading your CECM to a 30 byte unit I would definitely go down to the breakers and do a practice run on their connectors and practice how to release the red bars on the CECM and photograph the layout so your comfortable with your pending mod.

It's really very simple task but easy to break plastic when you've never done that mod before.
