Yes its vacuum operated and i pulled the vac hose off it and put a bolt down it to block it off, engine light came on lol, so im going to try a blanking plate on the pipe which feeds the exhaust gases into the EGR, that was it shouldnt throw a fault code as it only seems to be the vacuum pressure that it senses, i dont think it senses exhaust gases not entering the EGR :)
