parts for sale alerts not working

Hi,

I've clicked the notify me on the "parts for sale" section so I get emailed about new items for sale.  This seems to work for a few days and then stops, even though the forum page shows notify still enabled.

Is there something i'm doing wrong or is there a better way to be notified on new posts in a particular sub forum.
