Airbag fault

My airbag light has been on for months, this is the code vagcom gave me anybody had this before?

01217 drivers side airbag igniter m199

Take the drivers seat out flip it upside down you will see a yellow plug, you need to cut the plug out and rejoin the wires, the plug is a common fault! Easy fix

Used to have Edition 30 - number 009 and a GT TDI 140.
Now have an S4 B8 Avant (stage 2)

Thanks very much guys, I did search but couldn't find anything. I was worked it could be an expensive issue, my car is 3dr and 2005 so chances are this will sort mine out. Thanks again  :happy2:
