mudflaps ........again !
« on: January 03, 2010, 03:52:04 pm »
dont want to start the mudflaps debate again but as some of you know i m a fan of mudflaps on cars not only for a cosmetic thing but the practical side too
since i changed the wheels on the S3 the off-set has made the wheels stick out further than oem  :happy2: but now the side s of the car are open to a good thrashing of sh*t , stones and salt
i got these universal fit "flaps "a while back but only just git round to fitting them ...........
your opinions please ?

dont know why vw/audi dont make mudflaps for there top of the range cars

for universal fit they have gone on the S3 pretty good imo i only had to drill 2 little holes in the front ones used original fixings for others

I like them! And regardless of the cosmetics they will do a fine job of keeping your car looking mint!  :happy2:

the mudflaps are ok, but the wheels look mint don't change the colour, I think your car would look awesome with a tap of the lowering stick, get yourself some H&R springs, there are some good deals at the minute :happy2:

I'm not a fan tbh. I think the reason they dont come with them is because they dont look sporty or high class. If you are using them for practical reasons then fair enough but if you dont drive it in sh*tty weather are they needed.
Just my opinion. If you like them then thats all that matters!  :happy2:

if the vag made taylored ones imo they would  look great, like the gti fronts but they dont make them for the rear of the ed 30 non for R32 nor audi for S/RS models it seems stupid cause surely its these models which enthusiasts buy and the same people who want to look after there car
if some one could produce some for these models i m sure it would be a winner :happy2:
