I posted a hello topic last year (cant believe it was that long ago, I've just realized!). Been on the lookout for a Mk5 Gti for what must be a record breaking year and half. Originally wanted a edition 30 but they where out my price range for a low mileage example, which I was after.
So went back to looking for standard Gti's. Found this one for sale online a few weeks ago at a Volkswagen main dealer, made the 2 hour trip to reading from the midlands and a deal was done!
Its a 2008 tornado red Gti with quite a few options on it. Leather/cruise/MFSW/highline/sunroof!/center armrest (not sure if this was optional?) 2 owners from new with near full Volkswagen service history.
Been lurking around the forum for some time, so now I finally own one hopefully I can get involved a bit more.

First purchase was some genuine rubber mats from Vw to replace the cloth ones for winter
