Mk5 GTi diagnosis
« on: December 04, 2014, 05:57:15 pm »
After a battery drain issue and now a starting issue after car being drive fine
Have took my mk5 GTi 85000 miles FSH in to a Vw main dealer

Just had a member of staff ring me and tell me it's come up with 12 faults
One being  a possible turbocharger at £1400,
High pressure fuel pump regulator, relay control, a coil pack and a new crankshaft or a cylinder being a issue.
Feel asif I am being fobbed off majorly as don't want them to start changing parts that are not an issue

Please help !

Basically it turns over and will idle but when any throttle is given it will make an awful noise and conk out and sounds like its misfiring
