Tornado Red GTI (Air suspension equipped)
« on: December 07, 2014, 02:49:04 pm »
Thought id start a thread up on here seeing as i got my GTI last weekend!

Tornado Red
71k
18" Monza's in anthracite i believe
Convenience pack (Xenon's, Dual climate, cruise control etc)
Stage 1 map with Full Milltek system and de-cat

Cant begin to express how much better/different it is to my old MK4 gti :signLOL:

Plans include:

Decent induction kit (unsure which yet)
Another map or at least a dyno run to see what power she is putting out (claimed 250bhp but no proof)
Lowering springs or coilovers.. my MK4 has air suspension so it may even happen to this one.
Colour code the rear valance and side skirts.

Had a little problem with the boost but got it all sorted now so decided to treat her!

RAMAIR cold air induction kit & PCV delete from Creations Motorsports

Will install them this weekend!

Also gave the old girl a little clean.. Comes up well!

Induction kit is on aswell as the PCV revamp, had a bit of an issue with the PCV as the o-ring on the pipe didnt want to go in the supplied plug.. So i got it as aswell as i could breaking the little clip in the process :surprised:

Well the air ride is on, massive thanks to a mate of mine it wouldnt of beem possible otherwise! Needs a chassis notch and uprated dampers on the rear to give a better drop.

Looks awesome! I'm getting air fitted to mine on the 20th, can't wait! Are you using the air lift kit with standard rear shocks?
Also, what does the PCV delete do?

yeah standard rear shocks, looking at some Airlift ones now to get some more drop. PCV delete just gets rid of the chances of the OEM part failing i believe mate.

No idea yet mate.. spending to much money at the min :scared: hahaha
