I had them in my last mk5, it upgraded the sound from 'shít' to 'crap'
To be fair, I paid £60 for them in 2008 and they were worth that as I amped them. Paying near RRP then no chance
If you don't have one a sub would be a better upgrade. Once the bass is filled out it doesn't sound that bad.
I have the soundpack setup in my mk5 (3-ways in front with amp under passenger seat) and they sound much better than stock 2-way, but any bass made by them just makes the door cards rattle

AFAIK. That's what my GT Sport came with.
