« on: December 10, 2014, 10:06:23 am »
Hi guys,

Does anyone know of any decent budget tyres that they have used before? I need two up front.

Thanks

I got Nexen tyres fired on mine as mine were illegal when I bought it and was pretty skint.

Pretty dire to be honest and wished I had just waited to get decent tyres.

I managed to get a pair of Kumho's for £125, thats not bad for a pair including fitting and they're actually really good.

As said for £95 each you should get a pair decent tyres
I recently only paid £220 for a pair of Michelin Pilot sports fitted
Sure camskil were doing a great offer on michelins for something like £90 each with a £25 shell fuel voucher included

Otherwise another good cheaper mid range tyre is Toyo T1R although quite soft so wont last too long  :happy2:

Just looked on Camskill website and loads of decent brand tyres on there for around the £70-£80 mark including bridgestone, falkens etc etc

thats good to hear for some reason I thought they would cost alot more.

Has anyone used these before? Firestone Firehawk SZ90, my local place has them fitted for £77.90.

£95 each will get you a decent set.

I use oponeo.ie and check daily as tyre prices flip up or down 10% every single day

I got Pirelli PZeros for a similar price and they're unbelievable grip in the wet!

Tyretraders.com is cheap and they will give you a price for fitting to nearest place aswell and deliver the tyres there.

Camskills.co.uk is cheap aswell.

Buy the best you can.
