Just seen this thread!

Car is looking lovely!  8) 8)

I've done a similar number plate mod (sticker front plate) - had it on since 17 December, and had no troubles with the Plod so farrrrrrrrrrrr!! Touch wood!!!!

Albeit, mine is slightly bigger than yours, but still not full size lettering, and non-legal font, however I have legal spacing.

May I ask where you got your plate from, feel free to PM me, incase anyone unfavourable is viewing this forum.

I really like the mods you have done, i like the splitter alot, most peeps go the other way and leave it black, looks good imo!!

One question i hope u dont mind me asking, with changing the piping colour on the grill is that an easy job? White looks really good set against the rest of car.

cheers pal, all you have to do is remove the gti grill (2 screws at the bottom of the grill, and two at the top) and you will see there are just little plastic tabs holding the piping on be careful when taking it out tho as i had to do a little repair on mine due to little patience

car looks great however imo the number plate makes it look scruffy and tacky, ok on a jap car not on a nice white golf.
Many BMW'S and one bog standard MK5 3dr Golf GTI.
