Hello From Bristol
« on: December 11, 2014, 09:39:51 am »
Morning all thoguht id sign up and say Hi,

Currently hunting around doing some research and generally reading up on all things MKV :) Looking to get a MKV hopfully in the new year when i can free some captial up. Have had a few golfs before Mkiv 1.8T, MkiV R32 and a Oakie 16v (bit of a shock going from the R32 to the Mkii lol)

Ideally would love a Ed30 but all comes down to budget and ideally part ex'n the current motor and see if i can get a good deal, still debating if I want to look for a DSG or manual so thats a topic im going to be reading up on.

I know the ones ill be looking at will probably have 50k plus on the clock so will be checking that the cambelt and waterpump have been done, not sure if they had the same issue as the MKiv's with the waterpump and the plastic parts that were prone to snapping some searching will reveal all im sure.
