Love those wheels but the OZ were much cheaper than the price VW asked for them. They suit well the mk5 too. :drinking:

Gunna follow this thread. Got you on Instagram so recognise the lovely t5! New wheels look much better speedlines just don't work on the golf IMO lively wheels and every other car I've seen them on they look awesome but don't do it for me on the golf!

What's next then? Gotta do something with that plastic rear bumper! (Don't know how gti owners live with it)

Nice car though I'm sure it will be in a different league in a years time!

ahaha cheers mate :) yeah wheels are a stop gap tbh, my gf still uses it daily so i can't take it off the road quite yet! hopefully ill pick some tarmacs or something soonish. Just waiting for my mate to move house then its going in for repaint in blackberry (t5 colour) and properly full edition 30 kit then ill rip the motor out of it and put a k04 lump in it. Love the mk5 and in no rush to get a newer car tbh.  :happy2:

Sounds good man :) I fancy some new wheels but don't have loads to spend, and when I do I won't be able to justify spending loads on wheels when it could be money spent better elsewhere on suspension or brakes for me.
I like the ed30 pescaras just wish they were abit wider!

Do the new wheels clear the brake setup? Any need of spacers?

They clear it by a fair distance, but the Hubs help this. I know a guy with a caddy running a ttrs set up and they clear them

Just to clarify @M9xxr, what were the Splits - 19x9? They seem to sit very proud and subtly aggressively

After a set myself but not ready to pull the trigger just yet. They looked an absolute treat though  and in that colour, big winner (although I won't have the rim lip, personally prefer to be boring and have the wheels all one colour  )
